Senior VP, Wealth Manager

Paul Litchfield has spent 17 years helping clients across the United States and internationally navigate the financial decisions that matter most.

His practice is built on a simple belief: wealth management should go beyond the numbers. That's why he created the MOVE Framework — a structured approach grounded in Mission, Objectives, Values, and Ethics — to ensure every financial decision is made with clarity, alignment, and purpose.

Paul's career began in public accounting in Boston as a CPA, giving him a rare technical edge in tax strategy and financial structure. He went on to build his investment practice at Morgan Stanley and then Ferris Capital before joining Claro Advisors. Paul works with executives, founders, entrepreneurs, and multi-generational families who want more from their financial life.

Paul has been recognized by Forbes as a Top Next Gen Wealth Advisor Best-in-State for 3 consecutive years, Five Star Professionals, and Top 100 Magazine for his work as a wealth advisor.

Build the Strategy

Paul designs a comprehensive, integrated plan that brings your investments, tax strategy, estate planning, and financial goals into alignment — tailored to your life, not a template.

MOVE FRAMEWORK

My Personal MOVE Framework

You Should Know Who You're Trusting.

M — Mission

I learned how to make and manage money when I was 8 years old. My father went to prison and left us with nothing, so I started mowing lawns to help put food on the table. Later, I built my wealth management business from the ground up through cold calling and knocking on doors.

Those experiences shaped who I am and how I view this profession.

When I sit across from a client, I don't just see numbers, I see what money represents: security, freedom, and sometimes survival. That's why I do what I do. It's ingrained in my DNA, and it allows me to care for my clients in a way few advisors can.

O — Objectives

Trust: I do what I say, and I say what I do. My words and actions are always aligned, and that consistency is the foundation of every client relationship.

Timely, proactive communication: When you call, I answer. You don't get passed off to a junior advisor, and you'll hear from me regularly, especially during periods of market volatility.

Peace of mind: My clients feel more confident about their financial future because they know I have their back. That confidence and peace of mind are invaluable.

V — Values

Faith. Family. Fitness. Business. These aren't taglines — they're the principles that guide how I make decisions, how I show up, and what I build my life around.

E — Ethics

I put your interests first. Always. No proprietary products, no hidden conflicts. Our interests are aligned because I designed it that way. Returns matter — but character, integrity and alignment matter more.

Common Questions

What is the MOVE Framework and why does it matter?

The MOVE Framework is the system I created to build real alignment before we talk about investments. MOVE stands for Mission, Objectives, Values, and Ethics — four principles I believe should guide every major financial decision. Most advisors hand you a pie chart. I start by understanding what your wealth is actually meant to accomplish. That changes everything about how we plan together.

What types of clients do you work with?

My clients are typically executives, founders, entrepreneurs, and multi-generational families who have built real wealth and want a thoughtful, values-aligned approach to managing it. Many are navigating a specific moment — a liquidity event, a business sale, a career transition, retirement — and want an advisor who understands both the technical side and the bigger picture.

What makes your approach different?

I learned how to make and manage money early in life. After my father went to prison, I started mowing lawns at eight years old to help support my family. Later, I built my wealth management business from the ground up through cold calling and knocking on doors. I didn't have parents in the industry or an established network—I had to build everything from scratch.

Some of my clients have overcome similar hardships and immediately relate to my story. Others come from very different backgrounds and appreciate the grit, discipline, and perseverance that shaped who I am. Regardless of where they started, my clients know I bring that same work ethic and level of care to helping them achieve their financial goals.

At 39 years old, I've already spent 17 years advising clients. More importantly, I'm not building toward retirement like many older advisors. I'm building toward the next 30 years of serving the families who place their trust in me. My clients can have confidence that the advisor helping guide them today will be there for them and for the next generation.

How do you charge for your services?

Claro Advisors is a fee-only, fiduciary RIA — which means we're compensated only by our clients, never by commissions or product sales. Our fees are based on assets under management, and that fee covers financial planning, investment management, and ongoing access to your advisor. Additional costs may apply, including custodial fees, fund-level expenses, or third-party manager fees, depending on your portfolio. I'll walk you through the full fee structure in our first conversation. Our full fee schedule is described in our Form ADV Part 2A, available at https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/firm/summary/160294 or upon request.

What does getting started look like?

We begin with a conversation. It's a chance for both of us to understand whether we're a good fit. From there, I take the time to understand your full financial picture, your goals, your values, family dynamics, your work, charitable endeavors and overall objectives.

I'd welcome the opportunity to start a conversation and learn more about you.
