Joseph Waitkevich, CDFA®, is a Wealth Advisor at Claro Advisors who helps individuals and families see the full picture of their finances, including investments, retirement, and long-range planning aligned with what matters most to them. Alongside that work, he brings a deep specialty that sets his practice apart: divorce financial planning.
As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Joe helps clients navigate the financial side of divorce, one of life's most challenging transitions, with a combination of technical expertise and a calm, supportive approach. His goal is to bring clarity to a complicated process, so clients understand their options and can move forward on solid footing.
Joe is known for a patient, methodical approach and a knack for making complicated financial decisions feel manageable. He listens first, explains things plainly, and treats each client relationship as an ongoing partnership rather than a one-time transaction, whether a client is building toward retirement, putting a windfall to work, or simply wants a clearer view of where they stand.
Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Fairfield University and began his career in Massachusetts, where he developed his expertise in divorce financial planning. He grew up in Massachusetts and recently relocated to Austin, Texas, with his fiancée.
Outside the office, Joe enjoys staying active and, despite his recent move to Texas, remains a passionate Boston Celtics fan.
